Tallinn Roof Tops in Watercolour

This watercolour is looking down on the streets of Tallinn from The city walls.

In these first stages we sketch out the buildings and figures then use masking fluid to protect our whites.

We now establish the base colours and shadows in the buildings and the main ground shadow.
